With over 55 years of combined underwriting experience, our auto department provides personal and commercial auto products to accomodate a variety of risks. They practice responsible underwriting to maintain market viability and consistently offer excellent service and fast turnaround time.
Reinsurance / Member Services
With over 100 years of combined experience, RAM's Member Services Department is available to assist member companies with cause and origin investigations, arson and fraud investigations, and consulting on difficult claims. They are also available to conduct property inspections and consult with building suppliers, engineers, contractors and policyholders on new construction and fire safety issues. Other duties within the department include hiring and training of inspectors, administration of the facultative facility (specific cedes), providing reinsurance quotes and the processing of reinsurance recoveries.
RAM's Agency Services Department calls on our agency force and Minnesota township mutuals to market our direct lines products and promote our reinsurance program. They are available to perform commercial lines and personal lines inspections as well as assist in loss prevention and claims adjusting. This department also oversees the appointments of agents and agencies with our company.
With over 155 years of combined experience in the insurance industry, our claims adjusters handle multi-line losses and specialize in a variety of areas. They work hard to strengthen their knowledge with continuing education and strive to be the best in our industry. They facilitate that goal by delivering timely and fair claims service with the friendliness that our customers deserve.
One of the fastest growing departments at RAM, the Information Technology Department develops and supports a growing computer network and communication infastructure that provides solutions for a myriad of company functions. From our paperless office and workflow delivery system to our Web applications, they are committed to making it easier for agents to do business with RAM.
The primary responsibility of the Human Resources Department is to provide and coordinate internal support services to RAM concerning human resources management, such as recruiting, interviewing, testing, new employee orientation, personnel records, staff development and benefit programs. The HR department also manages the building maintenance, mailroom services and reception services in addition to the coordination of printed supplies, publications and special events.
The Accounting Department works to provide the Quarterly Financial Statements as well as the Annual Statement based on the guidelines set forth by the NAIC and the State of Minnesota. Along with the preparation of the financial statements, the Accounting Department takes care of all daily accounting needs.
